Step1: NBI CLEARANCE FOR FOREIGNERS ONLINE REGISTRATION.

Applying the NBI Clearance for foreigners is a similar process to the Filipino citizen.

Use a computer or laptop and go to the NBI Clearance website (https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/) and fill up and the registration.

If you already have an account registered in NBI Clearance website, you can simply log in using your email address and proceed to the next step. Here’s the step by step to NBI Clearance Online Application

Step 2: ONLINE APPOINTMENT.

Fill up the “Applicant Information” form. Fill out all box with your personal information requested. If you are done on it, click “Save Information”.

After saving the information, click on the “Apply for Clearance” The button is located on the top with the screen if you’re by using a cellphone it is in the upper right corner from the page for desktop or laptop users.

After clicking the APPLY FOR CLEARANCE, pop up will appear and ask for the valid ID/s to present in the appointment day.

Foreigners acceptable IDs are the following:

• Passport.
• ACR I-Card or –Alien Certificate of Registration-.

A pop-up window will appear after clicking the “I Agree” button, in this window you can select the time and date available to you from Monday to Friday and NBI Branch near to you. But for the foreigners in the (NCR) National Capital Region applicants, the available branch you can apply is ONLY in the NBI Main Clearance Center Located at U.N. Avenue Ermita, Manila.

For those Foreigners who live in the Province outside Metro Manila, you can apply your NBI Clearance in the Province where you live. The application process will be 10-15 days until you get the NBI Clearance.

Step 3: APPEARANCE ON APPOINTMENT DATE.

On the appointment day, go to the NBI Clearance Main Office located at U.N Avenue, Ermita, Manila right throughout the Manila Doctors Hospital.

When you go to the NBI Clearance Office you must wear proper attire and don’t wear shorts and slippers it will not be allowed.

Don’t forget to bring the following documents:

• Original and photocopy of your passport (bio page up towards the visa implementation page).
• Original and photocopy of your respective ACR I-Card or -Alien Certificate of Registration- (front and rear).
• Print-out of the application.
• Official Receipt.

Since NBI Clearance office already has a camera to take your picture during encoding, you don’t need to bring an image passport size.

When you are in the Office of NBI Clearance, go straight to the Registration desk immediately and pill up the Alien Registration form No.5

Submit an Alien Registration form and go to the next station for the biometric, Digital signature, Fingerprints, and Picture taking.

The next step is to go to the next station to submit your required documents and you will get your manual fingerprints and signature.

At the back of your NBI Clearance receipt, the NBI staff will stamp and write the date to claim your NBI Clearance.

Step 4: CLAIMING NBI CLEARANCE FOR FOREIGNERS.

For the Filipino citizens who can claim their NBI clearance exactly the same day, but for the NBI Clearance for foreigners must wait at least six days to provide their clearance.
