NBI renewal online application and registration have become simple using your mobile device or desktop with the power of the internet. The NBI Clearance improved its application and registration for the renewal process online.

The Renewal process of NBI Clearance is different froM that of a New NBI Clearance. If your NBI Clearance is about to expire and you are planning to renew it, here is our Guide to make sure you can Renew your NBI Clearance Online.

How to Renew NBI Clearance Online?

The NBI Renewal online is applicable only to those who have an NBI Clearance issued between 2014 and the present and are already registered online.

Here is how you can renew your NBI Clearance.

  • NBI Clearance Website. – Go to the NBI Clearance Services website, where you can find the NBI Clearance Quick Renewal.
  • NBI Clearance ID Number. – Secure your NBI ID Number and enter it in the box pop-up when clicking the NBI Clearance Quick Renewal.
  • NBI Quick Renewal Delivery. – Provide details asking for the Renewal delivery, which is your delivery address.
  • NBI Clearance Payment. – Six (6) options you can choose to pay for your NBI Clearance.
  • Pay your NBI Renewal. – When you have selected the payment option, the system generates a reference number to pay your NBI Renewal Online.

Your NBI Clearance will take 5 to 10 business days before arrival.

NBI RENEWAL ONLINE APPLICATION STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

Step 1. NBI Clearance Website

Go to the NBI Clearance services website, Here is the portal and official site for clearance https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/, find the NBI Clearance Online Renewal, and click.

You will be prompted to key in the NBI Clearance ID Number together with your mobile number and personal information. Make sure your NBI ID Number is issued from October 16, 2016 onwards or else you can’t use this online renewal.

This is only available for those who have registered for NBI Clearance online. If you do not have an account yet and want to renew your NBI Clearance, the answer is “you can not renew your NBI Clearance.” Instead, you can register a New Account using this process. Step 2. NBI Clearance ID Number

The NBI ID Number is unique and has 18 combinations of numbers and letters. You can find it in the upper right corner of your “Family Name.”

Now, you are ready to start filling out the online renewal section, as stated in the screenshot below followed by the NBI ID Number, Mobile number, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Birthdate, and then after filling in all information, you can now hit the verify to start retrieving your files. see the below screenshots

When you hit verify after filling in all the information and no error found then continue to the next steps. But if some errors are found, like “provided information is incorrect, you have to double-check the information you input and try to hit verify again.

Step 3. NBI Quick Renewal Delivery

This NBI Quick Renewal Delivery will appear after entering the NBI ID Number. In this section, you can see your details such as Name, address for delivery, and the amount you can pay.

Double-check your Delivery address to avoid the delay of your NBI Clearance.

The amount of your NBI Renewal is Php 330.00 plus the additional fee for the E-payment Services of NBI Clearance Online, amounting to Php 25.00, which is higher than the New application of NBI Clearance. This is because your NBI Renewal delivery express was included.

After checking your information, you can click the “Next” button to proceed to the next window.

The payment of your NBI Renewal has now become simple, just present the reference number at the bank or payment center appeared on the screen when you have done the quick renewal delivery and that’s it. You’re done and wait till your NBI Renewal Clearance delivers to your doorstep.

The approximate time it takes to deliver your NBI Renewal is about 5-10 working days. The day will start to count when you pay.

FAQs for NBI Renewal Online

Quick Renewal is for applicants with an NBI Clearance issued 2014 to present who are already registered in the online system. You’ll need your old NBI ID Number to proceed. If you’ve never registered online or can’t be verified, use the standard online renewal (via your account) or file a new application.

It’s the 18-character alphanumeric code printed on your old clearance, usually at the upper right near your surname. If you lost your old copy and can’t retrieve the ID number, you’ll likely need to apply as a new user.
Quick Renewal skips the branch visit; you provide delivery details and pay, then wait for the courier. Standard online renewal happens inside your account and may still require a branch appearance (e.g., if you need biometrics/photo recapture or get a HIT).
Expect ₱330 for the renewal plus ₱25 e-payment fee (delivery included in the Quick Renewal package). Pricing can vary by partner/area, so always confirm the amount shown on the portal before paying.
Allow 5–10 business days from the date of payment. Metro Manila tends to be faster; provincial addresses can take the full window. Keep your phone reachable—couriers call or text before delivery.

Yes—enter your details exactly as on your valid ID and ensure the delivery name matches who will receive the package. If records can’t be verified due to the change, switch to standard renewal (you may be asked to appear at a branch with supporting documents).
Usually no. Quick Renewal is designed to be delivery-only. However, if your record is flagged for HIT or verification, NBI may require a branch visit.
A HIT means your name matched someone in the database. Manual verification can add 7–15 working days (or more). Plan buffers if you need the clearance for HR, DFA, or visa.
You can typically pay via e-wallets (GCash/Maya/ShopeePay), 7-Eleven Cliqq, Bayad Centers, or partner banks (BDO/Metrobank/Landbank). Always use the reference number generated by the portal and screenshot your receipt.
Posting can lag during peak periods. Wait up to 24 hours, then refresh. If it’s still pending, use the help/contact path in the portal and send your reference code + payment proof. Don’t pay twice with the same code.

Validity is generally one year from issuance. If you lose the document, log in and apply again (Quick Renewal if eligible, standard renewal, or new application). Keep digital copies of your receipts/reference codes to make reprocessing easier.
